The intervention process

During our initial call, we will get to know each other and decide if an intervention is the best course of action for your loved one

An Intervention is a team effort. Together, we will decide who will be there, who will speak, and the roles each individual will play.

We will have a Zoom or phone call to ask questions about your loved one to gain a full picture of what is needed for the intervention.

We will do anything in our power to achieve our one goal: getting your loved one to treatment. During this step of the process, we will identify consequences that we can use for leverage during the intervention, choose the time and location of the intervention, discuss treatment center options, and arrange transportation.

We will have the selected intervention team make personal notes of what they want to say to stay on track during the intervention. We may also have letters written to your loved one. Notes and letters will be reviewed, and the AS1NTERVENTIONS team will provide feedback to ensure appropriate language and emotions are expressed. 

We will execute our plan to hold the intervention at the pre-designated time and location. We will have transportation and the treatment center of choice on standby. If the intervention does not go as planned, the AS1NTERVENTIONS team will guide you through what to do and how to pivot our strategy. 

Regardless of outcome, it is likely you will need family support as well. We will connect you with our trusted resources to provide guidance, coaching, and/or therapy for ongoing support.
